After spending 3 1/2 years majoring in business and psychology,

I then spent the next 10 years in home and business interior sales and design.  It's strange how things turn out.

During that 10 years in sales and since, I've been accused of being a "Color Expert".  It's a label I don't mind - especially since I've spent many years researching and studying color. I now occasionally teach classes on interior decorating at the community college and offer a free seminar on color.

For the next 12 years, I did sales and design for the flooring industry where I was able to utilize all the different specialties of residential and commercial design in one setting.

After designing out of a home studio for 2 years, my husband Steve and I decided to open a "brick and mortar" storefront to sell flooring, window coverings, wall coverings and so much more!
